Christoph (Chris) Zott is a Professor of Entrepreneurship at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, which he joined in 2008, after ten years of service on the entrepreneurship faculty of INSEAD (Fontainebleau / France). Chris Zott has been appointed Associate Editor of the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal as well as a member of the Editorial Board of the Strategic Management Journal. He has been involved with the Entrepreneurship and Strategy Interest Group of the Strategic Management Society from 2004 to 2006 as a representative at large. His research centers on resource management in entrepreneurial firms, more specifically, the design of business models that combine the resources of entrepreneurial firms with those of suppliers, customers, and partners; the acquisition and mobilization of resources through entrepreneurs’ social influence actions; and the deployment of resources through firms’ dynamic capabilities. Chris Zott has published on these topics at the intersection of strategy and entrepreneurship in the Administrative Science Quarterly, Organization Science, and the Strategic Management Journal. He has also served on the Editorial Board of the Academy of Management Review, as an Associate Editor for Management Science, and is currently a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Business Venturing. Chris Zott regularly contributes to the SMS International Conference.
